What began as a project in New York in 1904 is now the biggest and most successful 1:1 mentoring program worldwide.
With over a century of experience, Big Brothers Big Sisters continues to support children and young people facing adversity individually.
Motivated adults act as mentors to young people aged 6 to 17, dedicating their time and attention on a voluntary basis. Girls get a big sister, while boys get a big brother.
Since the organization was founded, more than two million young people have been supported in their personal development, and 280 000 children and young people worldwide are currently receiving support.
